Massage
Eileen Egerton
My interest in massage therapy began during a life-changing year spent living in Thailand at the age of 18. There I experienced massage as an integral part of family life within the Thai culture.
This experience fostered a love of body work which has led me to study a range of modalities including Chinese therapeutic massage and remedial hot stone massage.
During my career massage has taken me on some wonderful and diverse adventures. I have established massage programs within hospitals, nursing homes and corporate work environments. I have also worked in spas on a cruise ship and run my own private practice employing 20 staff in Melbourne, which I continue to manage.
Since retuning home to Martinborough in 2020 I have worked from the beautiful treatment room at Love and Core.
The focus of my work is relaxation and stress management. I combine warmed lava stones with beeswax balm. The hot stones are used as a tool to release tension, apply acupressure, soften tissue and promote circulation while the beeswax balm intensively hydrates your skin.
